Snowmass Holly Bells is one of our favorites and a difficult one to let go. She is the outstanding daughter of the remarkable FEMALE, Followill Holly Go Lightly who sold for an amazing $96,000 at the '05 Snowmass auction. As an added bonus, Holly's dark fawn sire, Snowmass Matador's Magic (the "color maker" at Snowmass for many years; sire of S. Midnight Magic and S. Equinox) has impressive stats as well: 2nd year histogram: 18.5 mic, 3.5 SD, 18.9 CV, 0.8 >30 and even better yet, his 6th year histogram: 21.4 mic, 3.5 SD, 16.2 CV, 1.9 >30.
Holly has a very low scale, bright and extreme soft handling fleece with a very respectable 20.3 micron histogram. She is a very calm young lady, is easy to manage and she gets along with everybody; all traits she passes onto her impressive offspring.
Holly birthed another fabulous cria this past August 28th. He should certainly be a show winner in his color class, he's already displaying excellent fleece.

Tawny's first year histogram was a stunning 14.0 microns with 0.0% fibers over 30. 0.0% over 30. We've never seen that anywhere else before. Have you seen that anywhere else before...? Combine that with a 16.3 micron 2nd year and a 18.5 micron 3rd year histogram and now we're talking about Vicuna-level fineness. And he's holding. His 6th year fleece histogram is an outstanding 20.9 microns.

"Snowmass Red Hot Tawny Port is one of our finest true Vicuna type medium brown males. He is an example of a true type alpaca and has the fineness and density of a Vicuna which are significant traits that make up both his dam and sire. He has placed very well with a 2nd at the '03 Futurity and 1st at the '05 AOBA National fleece show beating both S. Andean Night and S. Royal Bronze who were in the same class.
